Screw Security & Product Updates

From 1 June 2026 onwards, all pieces will be assembled with Loctite threadlocker on the screws for added security.

While screws are tightened before leaving the studio, movement and regular use may naturally cause them to loosen over time. This is considered normal wear through everyday use. Introducing Loctite helps reduce the chances of screws coming undone and gives your gear added security over time.

As screws will be secured in place, future disassembly may no longer be possible. This means individual BioThane sections may not always be replaceable, and certain repairs may require alternative solutions such as cutting away damaged sections and repurposing the remaining material.
